Good sleep apart from a mischievous train hooting away at 4 am.

Only 100 or so miles today to St Louis but with not a cloud in the sky and the temperature getting into the mid 30s - not a day to hang around.

Visited a part of the original Route 66 track - made of red bricks (not yellow - I don't think we're in Kansas yet Toto !!):




Stopped off for petrol, so I took some photos of some of the crew:

Finally stopped for lunch at Weezys before the ride across the mighty Mississippi and into St Louis.
